...Bryan Smith will bring a lot of expertise and experience from his past accomplishments that will help the company continue on its path to becoming one of the top retailers for printing and signs.
Daytona, FL (PRWEB) December 19, 2013
BizCard Xpress has recently announced Bryan Smith as the new Vice President of Franchise Operations and Development of their rapidly growing print and sign business.
“Bryan’s past experience is a virtual who’s who in the printing and sign industry, and we are very fortunate to have added this consummate professional to our team,” said Lee Papadeas, the company’s founder. “We expect great things to come of this new position, and are totally confident that with our uniquely different business model, his success will be assured.”
With over 21 years of franchise experience in the industry, he will be responsible for managing all of the facets of franchise sales and lead development, from initial inquiry to closing the deal. Bryan has an impeccable track record of delivering a consistent stream of revenue and boosting sales to unprecedented levels in spite of the economic and industry challenges he faced at that time.
Bryan is a tremendous leader and highly regarded senior sales professional who takes initiative in his work. He has excelled in generating sales as well as in using his analytical genius to solve complex business problems standing in his way. As Senior Vice President for Instant Imprints, he played a key role in revitalizing the company’s brand after it had experienced negative growth for 4 years straight. As a result of his hard work and commitment, Instant Imprints was added to the “Franchise 500” in 2013, less than two years after turning the brand around.
As a United States Navy veteran, Bryan initiated a Discovery Day that gave prospects the opportunity to show their respect to retired war vets and launched the Veteran Franchise Program for honoring the men and women who have served in the U.S. military. Furthermore, he has served as a member of the International Franchise Association Veteran Affairs Committee, a network of Franchises offering financial incentives to veterans seeking to become small-business owners of a franchise.
As the previous Vice President of Canadian Operations and later the Regional Vice President of the mid-Atlantic region for United Franchise Group (UFG), Bryan spent 20 years building the foundation for what developed over time into the world’s largest network of franchise systems, specializing in personalized business services such as signage, embroidery and outdoor advertising. This system is comprised of several leading franchises, including Signarama®, the world’s largest full-service sign franchise with over 900 retail locations in over 50 countries, EmbroidMe® with over 400 retail outlets in 12 countries, Billboard Connection®, a home-based advertising agency specializing in outdoor advertising with over 90 locations in 5 countries, and Plan Ahead Events® with 68 locations spread throughout 5 countries.
From 2007 to 2010, Bryan helped award over 100 franchise licenses and personally awarded over 50 franchise licenses in the region on his own. Moreover, he generated numerous additional franchise licenses in that 3 year period and successfully developed the Resale Program, which added 20% to top- line sales and reduced the failure rate for all of the brands while increasing the annual sales and royalty payments for units that were resold.
As the recipient of numerous awards recognizing his vast achievements in sales, including the Corporate MVP award for exceptional leadership, Bryan increased the annual volume of regionally combined stores from less than half a million to more than $12 million. As the new Vice President of Franchise Operations and Development for BizCard Xpress, Bryan Smith will bring a lot of expertise and experience from his past accomplishments that will help the company continue on its path to becoming one of the top retailers for printing and signs.
