St. Louis Attorney Mark Hammer Appointed “Master” of Local American Inns of Court
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- As a criminal defense lawyer, Mark Hammer is dedicated to helping people. Now, his legal practice has garnered the attention of a prestigious legal organization, the American Inns of Court. Under the mantra "Fostering Excellence in Professionalism, Ethics, Civility, and Legal Skills," the American Inns of Court chose Mark as the newest Master of its local chapter.
This is the highest membership in the organization and a genuine reflection of Mark’s legal skills.
The St. Louis chapter of the Inns of Court has more than 80 members and includes local judges, attorneys, law school students, and other members of the legal community. The St. Louis chapter is focused on facilitating a sense of community among local attorneys and allows legal professionals to share best trial practices with each other. The American Inns of Court meets once a month to discuss matters pertinent to the legal profession and the local community.
There are four levels of membership: Pupil, Associate, Barristers, and Masters. Each member specializes in a recognized area of litigation practice, such as criminal law, federal litigation, tax law, white collar crime, intellectual property, family law, administrative law, bankruptcy, or employment law. Attorney Hammer practices criminal defense and is well-versed in both white collar and federal crimes cases.
When Mark isn’t defending a client in court, he also serves as an adjunct professor at the Saint Louis University School of Law. Additionally, Mark and his law partner, Attorney Nicole Chiravollatti, are actively involved in the ALS Association’s mission to cure Lou Gehrig's Disease and recently raised more than $10,000 for the association.
