Convertech’s newest air-roll-lock differential shaft reduces waste, eliminates dust, doesn’t slip, and doesn’t allow cores to move side-to-side.
With advances in their air-roll-lock differential shaft design, Convertech has taken much of the pain out of differential winding. Using an internal clutching mechanism to control tension eliminates operator error and can dramatically improve roll quality. The integrated GlideLock™ rollers allow easy loading and unloading of heavy rolls.
When mishandled, the heavy weight of finished rolls can present many workplace hazards. By easing the loading and unloading process with the smooth action of the GlideLock™ rollers, operators can easily move rolls along the length of the shaft and on to the roll handling equipment without excess effort or risk.
With the addition of the newest GlideLock™ clutched rollers to their differential, shaft Convertech has given converters a reliable and efficient way to make the best use of their machine time. Because each GlideLock™ clutched roller functions independently, converters can easily run multiple width cores on the same shaft while ensuring perfect tension every time.
