Oliver Hung Named President of Coherix, Inc. Semiconductor & Electronics Business

With a wealth of experience in the semiconductor industry, Hung is excited to enhance global awareness and sales, primarily of the 3DX™, high-speed, non-contact vision inspection system.
Hung is confident about the advancements Coherix has made in the development of high-speed 3D inspection systems. Since joining the company, Hung has begun to carve out a strategic plan to positively impact the semiconductor and electronics industries on a global basis with Coherix’s proprietary sensor and software technology.

Hung has a Masters Degree in Material Science from National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan. With more than 20 years of semiconductor capital experience and strong customer contacts in the Asia region, Hung is poised to lead his team of engineers and salesmen to success globally. In 2012, prior to joining Coherix, Hung was the President of the Asia Region for NEXX Systems. Before that, he was the TSMC Global Account General Manager for Novellus Systems for five years. Hung also served as the President of Marketech International Corp in the China region starting in 2003.
The 3DX Series is a major advancement in semiconductor inspection technology. Handlers no longer need to stop parts to inspect them. 3DX measures semiconductor packages optically on-the-fly, setting a new standard of throughput. This vision inspection system measures 3D characteristics of up to 70,000 parts per hour.
