Batavia, Illinois (PRWEB) December 19, 2013
If you have trouble breathing during the winter months, you’re not alone. As the temperature outside plummets and the heat goes on, so can your discomfort from the dry, stale air in the home.
Confident Aire is offering savings on four different products and services that address most aspects of indoor winter air problems caused by dust, dirt and other contaminants spread through unclean air ducts in the home.
Following are details of the Confident Aire "Breathe Easy" 2013 Winter Promotion.
Furnace Tune-Up – Customers can save $100 on a furnace tune-up. A fee of $139 is offset by a $100 restaurant voucher reducing the final net cost to only $39. The voucher is redeemable at all participating restaurant.com eateries.
New Energy Efficient Heating/Cooling System – With savings from Confident Aire as well as Nicor Gas Rebates and Federal Tax Credits, homeowners can save up to $3995 on a completely new energy-efficient HVAC system. Participants should first check with their accountant for eligibility on a $500 federal tax credit, which expires December 31, 2013. For Nicor Gas rebates all furnaces must have an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) of 92% or greater.
Humidifier – An Aprilaire Model 600 or Trane TUHMD300 Whole-House Bypass Model Humidifier is offered at a sale price of $399 for customers who purchase any other service from Confident Aire, and installation must be at the same time of that service. The $399 price is a savings of nearly $250 off the regular price. The bypass humidifier features a damper that is conveniently labeled for summer and winter settings, allowing the operator to set it once for the entire season. These models will accommodate up to 2200 square feet of indoor living space.
Air Purifier – Save $100 on an Ionizing Air Purifier, regularly priced at $599.
"Winter can be tough enough without the worry of health problems due to poor air quality inside the home," says Wangler, President and Owner of Confident Aire. "We want to offer our customers every opportunity to correct indoor air problems and breathe easy for the next three months."
Winter is here and so are furnace problems. Regular furnace tune-ups can lessen chances for a breakdown during the middle of the night, when temperatures can get well below freezing this time of year. Tune-ups also keep the furnace running at peak performance levels insuring maximum efficiency and the lowest possible energy usage.
The newest technology in heating and cooling is reflected in units that are geared for top performance and maximum energy efficiency. For example, the Trane XC95m Furnace features up to 97.3% AFUE and is fully modulating for maximum efficiency. The Trane XV20i Air Conditioner provides up to a 20 Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER). "Typical units of 15 – 20 years ago were only 13 SEER. We are replacing these older units with AC models that are 15 – 20 SEER and our customers are really seeing the difference in their energy bills," reports Wangler.
Humidifiers can help hydrate the dry air in the home and soothe the inside of your nose and lungs with plenty of moisture. A humidifier can also help keep your lungs more elastic and your nasal passages lubricated, speeding up the healing process.
The special ionizing effect of the Ionic Air Purifier forces tiny contaminant particles to stick together, allowing them to be easily removed from the air by the purifier. Dust, VOC’s, odors, pet dander and even viruses and bacteria can be removed from the air, keeping it healthy and fresh smelling all winter long.
A regular furnace tune-up or a new HVAC system combined with a humidifier and air purifier can all work together to create a healthier living environment helping everyone "breathe easier" all winter long!
