Urban Bike Brand Brooklyn Bicycle Co. Introduces Spring 2014 Models
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) December 20, 2013 -- Urban bike brand Brooklyn Bicycle Co. today announced they will be introducing new models this Spring as well as some upgrades to existing models. All new and existing models will now include lightweight 4130 chromoly steel frames and sealed bearing hubs. Additionally, all models will now sport vegan leather saddle and grips, which the company spent two years researching in order to find a comfortable yet durable weather-resistant material.
New models include:
• Bedford – The Bedford model color pallet includes a sleek matte grey, matte black and ivory. Available in a single speed (@ $399) and a seven speed (@ $489).
• Franklin – The Franklin is the company’s first single speed step through model ($399) and it is also available in a seven speed ($489). Colors include gloss black, cardinal red and ivory.
In addition to the vegan leather saddle and grips, upgrades to the existing Driggs and Willow models include decorative crown forks and an expanded color pallet including cardinal red and denim blue.
Brooklyn Bicycle Co. bikes are now sold in over 85 locations across the USA and Canada. If the company does not have a shop in a customer’s city, they will ship it to a local bike shop and have it assembled for free through its Buy & Ride program. Additionally, the company has expanded distribution into Europe, Mexico and Australia.
“We are super excited to bring these new models to market and based on the early feedback from dealers, we believe our customers are going to be equally as pleased,” said Brooklyn Cruiser President Ryan Zagata. “We’ve had the chance to communicate with so many customers about their bike preferences and bring these likes and dislikes to life through these new models and upgrades,” he added.
