Two Ten Footwear Foundation today announced that Amazon Fashion has been named as the title sponsor for the second annual Footwear Cares held during the month of April 2014. In its inaugural year, Two Ten’s Footwear Cares program united 68 footwear companies and over 3,000 footwear volunteers across the country in a first-ever, industry-wide community service program to help local charities serving families and communities.

“Amazon Fashion is proud to support Two Ten Footwear Foundation and the Footwear Cares initiative,” remarked Stan Friedlander, GMM of Footwear, Amazon Fashion. “This program will help provide the needed resources to make a lasting impact, on a national level, in the communities in which we live and work.”

“We are excited about the philanthropic commitment that Amazon Fashion has made to help grow Footwear Cares to a month-long program,” said Neal Newman, president of Two Ten Footwear Foundation. “Amazon Fashion really understands that it isn’t just about the shoes, but rather it’s about the people in our local communities who need extra help. This year, with Amazon Fashion, we’ll aim to have over 100 footwear companies and over 5,000 footwear volunteers engaged in a variety of community service projects.”

Through Footwear Cares, Two Ten proudly partners with local, regional and national charitable non-profits to provide a variety of volunteer opportunities to the footwear industry including food pantries, environmental groups, schools and community improvement programs.
