Ed Gillis has been promoted to Regional Vice President of HotelPlanner.com and Meetings.com based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ed has been employed by HotelPlanner.com since 2010 and previously held the position of Regional Product Director for Las Vegas. He began his hotel career in Las Vegas in 1999 at the Sahara Hotel & Casino and has 15 years of hotel experience including becoming the Director of Sales at the Sahara Hotel & Casino, National Sales Manager at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, National Sales Manager for Hyatt Hotels in San Diego and Las Vegas, and National Sales Manager at Wynn | Encore Las Vegas. A graduate of Oklahoma City University, he completed his undergraduate work in 1996 and received his Master’s degree in Education in 1999.
