Lehigh Valley’s award-winning advertising and public relations agency, Spark, (http://www.sparkcreatives.com) has hired Laura Dubbs as designer. In her short time at Spark, Dubbs has already had a major role in shaping the look and feel of a brand new magazine for C. F. Martin & Company. She will create designs, illustrations and graphics for a range of clients.

“We are pleased to welcome Laura to our talented design team,” said Denis Aumiller, principal of Spark and the agency’s lead art director. “Laura is a born artist and her dedication to her craft is a huge benefit to our firm and clientele.”

Prior to working with Spark, Dubbs was a graphic design intern at 20nine, an independent branding agency. She has also worked as a freelance designer at Echo Live Agency LLC and The Black Room Music Group. She created a collector toy invitation postcard project that was published in a typography book entitled Mastering Type: The Essential Guide to Typography for Print and Web Design.

Dubbs received her bachelor of fine arts in graphic design and advertising from Kutztown University in May 2013. At Kutztown, she was awarded the 2013 Graphic Design Award, annually given to the top student in the communication design department. She resides in Whitehall, Pa.
