"We are pleased that through our IngramSpark offer, ALLi members will have access to the integrated services of IngramSpark to publish their books at a discounted rate.” David Taylor, Ingram Content Group Inc
London, London (PRWEB UK) 20 December 2013
The Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi) today announced a new relationship with Ingram that will provide ALLi members exclusive discounts on services via IngramSpark, Ingram's easy-to-use independent publisher services platform.
The deal provides ALLi members discounted rates across a range of IngramSpark services including volume discounts on print and reprint orders. Full details on the range of discounts available to ALLi members can be found via ALLi’s Self Publishing Advice blog.
The offer extends from December 1st, 2013 through to December 2014, and is open to registered ALLi members, using a specially allocated code.
"With a distribution network that connects to 38,000+ booksellers and libraries, IngramSpark provides a service that could be of great benefit to author-publishers, particularly if challenges around discounting are met,” said ALLi Founder and Director Orna Ross, welcoming the deal. “ALLi is delighted to be working closely with Ingram to help deliver the best possible service for indie authors as publishing and trading conditions change."
Ingram launched its IngramSpark service for independent publishers in July of this year. The IngramSpark platform integrates the best technology, manufacturing, logistics and worldwide distribution capabilities for print and e-book content into a single easy-to-use platform for publishers.
"The integration of physical and digital content creation, and worldwide distribution reach, lowers the barriers to entry and reduces risk for author-publishers to publish and bring books to market," said David Taylor, Senior Vice President, Content Acquisition International, Ingram Content Group Inc. "We are pleased that through our IngramSpark offer, ALLi members will have access to the integrated services of IngramSpark to publish their books at a discounted rate.”
The deal is the latest in ALLi’s ongoing work to ensure their members have unparalleled access to resources that encourage excellence in author-publishing.
The Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi) is a non-profit, professional association for author-publishers. Rapidly growing, with members all over the world, ALLi (http://allianceindependentauthors.org) is now a significant force in international publishing.
