Digital publishing pioneer Aptara announces the appointment of Bill Penders as its new President, effective January 1, 2014. Aptara’s current President & CEO, Dev Ganesan, will become the Chair of Aptara’s Customer Advisory Board.

Bill was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Bowne & Co., an $850M global financial publishing business acquired by RR Donnelley (RRD) in 2011. Post-acquisition, Bill was RRD’s Senior Vice President of International Sales and Operations where he led the successful integration of the Bowne organization into RRD’s operations and strategic initiatives to expand their International services portfolio.
