Young Driver Safety at the Heart of Stoneacre Partnership With Marmalade
(PRWEB UK) 23 December 2013 -- Stoneacre Motor Group has today unveiled its partnership with the award winning young driver insurance specialist Marmalade.
Joining forces with the innovative insurer will enable the group to offer affordable insurance for young drivers aged 18 – 24 who purchase a vehicle up to 1400cc. The announcement comes just months after the group launched its 'Free Driving Lessons' programme, which was also aimed at younger drivers and enables customers to take advantage of as many lessons as they require in order to pass their test, at no cost to them.
The partnership will also see Stoneacre become Marmalade's main supplier of new cars for its industry leading Fuel and Go scheme. Fuel and Go is the only scheme in the UK that offers free insurance* for the first year to 17 and 18 year olds when they purchase a new car.
Marmalade's unique approach to young drivers involves the use of telematics to monitor policy holder driving style and provides access to online coaching and support, which is aimed at improving driver safety.
Stoneacre's Managing Director, Shaun Foweather commented; “We're delighted to announce our partnership with Marmalade. We believe that our ability to provide affordable young driver insurance at the same time as supplying either a new or used car will not only prove popular among a younger audience, but will also help us drive significant additional volume within the business”.
Crispin Moger, Managing Director at Marmalade, added: “Our business is built on championing young drivers. Partnerships with leading names such as Stoneacre means we can reach more young motorists and help to ensure they get their driving careers off to the safest, best possible start.”
