This holiday season don’t be in a rush and take your time to look around. We have increased our mobile patrols in shopping areas, so shoppers can feel safe. We're also providing holiday safety guidelines, we encourage you to pass them on.

‘Tis the season to be, robbed? Not necessarily, according to Bryant Security, a Miami security company that’s keeping their clients and communities safe this holiday season, despite an anticipated spike in crime. According to Hialeah Police, this holiday season has already seen a spike in holiday crimes, and its just the kick off of the holiday season. The Department even issued a campaign in November to remind holiday shoppers how to stay safe this season. Bryant Security is also helping by offering holiday guidelines to families and communities, in an effort to lower the local holiday crime rate this year.

“This holiday season don’t be in a rush and take your time to look around. We have increased our mobile patrols in shopping areas, so shoppers can feel safe. We're also providing holiday safety guidelines, we encourage you to pass them on.” says Shay Ben-David, President of Bryant Security. Bryant Security is offering holiday safety guidelines to keep families in South Florida safe, and to help lower the crime rate this holiday season. Hanukkah, Kwanza, Christmas and New Years all fall threat to criminal activity.

Home Safety:
-Keep shades lowered
-Don't display wrapped gifts under tree until last minute
-If out of town, stop newspaper delivery, and make sure your mail is collected by a neighbor
-Keep a few lights on at all times
-If possible, have lights on a timer, so criminals think you are at home at all times

Shopping Safety:
-Keep purse close by, and an eye on it at all times
-Carry keys in pocket or hands (if purse stolen, keys are gone with it)
-Dress casually, no fancy jewelry
-Don't flash cash
-Purchase only what you can carry, don't make extra unnecessary trips to the car for loading
