The graduate students from McCombs School of Business development program showcased their findings in a conference this month. The information was gathered during a semester long research program. The sole focus of these 4 students was finding out how the company’s day planner app Plan4Life could be expanded to target upper level professionals. Moreover what aspects of the digital planner were of use and what overall was needed to effectively help increase fast time management.
When Appilicious was chosen by the University of Texas to be apart of this educative program they felt honored because of schools reputation. The company trusted the program and felt that whatever their findings, they would have to be ready to move quickly on them to benefit fully.
The final presentation educated the development team on what over 200 interviewed professionals were looking for in a digital day planner solution. The research was impressive and thorough. What stood out was the overwhelming wish of these professionals that their planner could share with others. Participants of the survey wanted to see immediately their connected person's availability and make arrangements within seconds. Appilicious believes that their conclusions are exactly on trend and when implemented will be a major component to the future of Plan4Life’s success in the iTunes app store.

The students found that the desired demographic is male and female with higher educational backgrounds, and professionals between the ages of 22-58 years of age. Also, that 95% of people surveyed used a digital planner. Appilicious believes this makes the choice to focus on sharing a top priority. The holiday season will increase the number of people with iPhones and iPads creating a larger market for the firm. The app firm believes with this strong market they can stand out with their intuitive functionality to entice these new customers.
