In the Christmas spirit, Client Services Incorporated (CSI) employees played the role of Santa ensuring there will be something under the tree for many deserving St. Charles County families this year.
CSI concluded a successful Toy Drive on Dec. 17 benefiting the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery’s Outreach Center in St. Charles, delivering 11 boxes of toys and $672 in cash to an appreciative staff just in time for Christmas.
Just last month, CSI donated more than $750 to Hope Ministries Food Pantry, providing Turkeys for Thanksgiving.
“CSI has an important responsibility to the community as the third largest employer in St. Charles County,” Executive Vice President Scott Lindley said. “In our business we know money can be tight around the holidays, and we are always willing to lend a helping hand to those less fortunate. It’s something we do every day here at CSI.”
The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery (SLCN) is an independent, not-for-profit agency funded by donations and committed to preventing child abuse and neglect by providing short-term, emergency shelter for children, birth through age 12, whose families are faced with emergencies or who are in crisis.
Founded in 1986, the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery has become a cornerstone in the fight against child abuse and neglect. In addition to the direct care of the children, the Crisis Nursery gives ongoing support and follow-up care to families and serves as a child/family advocate within the social services system.
CSI employees who made a donation during the Toy Drive were granted a casual day at work on Christmas Eve.
