Probiotic Action

All-Natural treatment for acne, eczema and rosacea.

Miami, FL (PRWEB) December 24, 2013

On December 17, 2013, Probiotic Action issued a statement regarding the findings of a recent study which revealed that probiotics could potentially help cancer patients who were undergoing treatment survive the sometimes lethal effects of those chemotherapy treatments.

The article, published by NaturalNews.com, related the findings of a study where mice were given what should have been lethal doses of chemotherapy. Some of the mice were given a substance called "Rspo1" or "R-spondon1," which “activates stem cell production within your own intestinal walls, and these stem cells are like super tissue regeneration machines that rebuild damaged tissues faster than the chemotherapy can destroy them.” As the article sums up in one of the simplified main findings, “Probiotics may protect and support the intestinal stem cells that help cancer patients survive toxic chemotherapy.”

Probiotic Action spokesperson Fernando Perez says that the findings, although very early on, are quite promising. He says, “Clearly many different factors are at play when someone is being treated for cancer. But keeping the body as healthy as possible during the process may be one overlooked aspect. Since so much of the body’s immune system is based in the stomach, it makes sense that probiotics could be used to provide a natural defense when the body is experiencing something as traumatic as cancer treatments.”

Perez goes on to say, “These findings, though in the very early stages, show a great deal of promise. Probiotics mean many things to different people. For some, they represent the next stage in natural acne treatment. But for others, someday, it could prove to be a life and death difference when being treated for cancer.”

Probiotic Action, a pioneer in using probiotics for acne, follows all probiotic-associated products to collect information in order to help educate the public on the power of probiotics for skin care and overall health. For more information, please visit ProbioticAction.com.
