K9 Dog Park Calendar Benefiting Escondido Humane Society Available For Pre-Order
Escondido, California (PRWEB) December 31, 2013 -- K9 Dog Park's 2014 Facebook Holiday Photo Contest is complete and chocked full of amazing dog photos taken during the holidays. K9 Dog Park is making those photos available in a 2014 calendar benefiting the Escondido Humane Society of Escondido, CA.
K9 Dog Park has been collecting holiday-themed dog photographs on its Facebook page for a pet-pinup 2014 calendar. The online voting contest includes treats for the top three entries and a feature month for each of the 12 top dogs. Holiday photos from across the year were welcomed, including Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Halloween as well as Thanksgiving Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s and others.
K9 Dog Park owner Penny DiLoreto, an animal behaviorist and professional dog trainer, said staff members take pictures of dog owners with their pets at park events and decided to invite owners’ submissions.
“We understand just how excited owners are about their pets,” she said. “We thought it would be neat to see what pictures people take of their own pets around the holidays. We hope everyone will have fun with this.”
Participants who have posted pictures could win prizes depending upon voting. Voting is open until January 1st. To vote, visitors to K9 Dog Park's Facebook Page need only LIKE the page and then vote for their favorite photo. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive Beggin' For It! treats, and the 12 with the most votes will get a month in the 2014 calendar.
The calendars will be for sale online. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Escondido Humane Society.
