New case study explains the problem solving process used at Modern Fence Technologies.

"...who do you turn to for customer service when you are buying imports?” Mike KcKamey

Modern Fence Technologies is releasing its first case study about working with industry leaders to engineer unique product offerings for the professional fence industry. Several top fence manufacturers in the U.S. are already using Modern Fence Technologies for hardware solutions, and more are joining in to brand MFT hardware solutions specifically to their applications.

Mike McKamey of All That Wood, in Hermiston, Oregon recently worked with MFT to design a hinge for his line of welded aluminum frame gates for vinyl privacy fence. “I'd been looking for a durable, adjustable hinge for these gates, and wanted one made in the U.S., by someone I trust to do the job right,” McKamey said. In the past McKamey had used other hinges from overseas, which were commoditized copies of U.S. designs, and were priced attractively, but didn't quite fit the need.

“They weren't strong enough to stand up to the winds we get in Oregon, and there was no attention to detail. Holes weren't drilled properly, and the paint sometimes didn't even cover the whole hinge,” according to Mr. McKamey. “And who do you turn to for customer service when you are buying imports?”

In describing his experience during the selection and design process, McKamey added, “The team listened to my needs, and came up with a solution that meets them, at a fair price. Working with Modern Fence Technologies makes me confident that I am providing an excellent product pairing with my gate system. I know my customers are getting a quality system.”

“Modern Fence Technologies is known throughout the fence industry as an innovator in fence related products. This latest recognition from All That Wood has allowed MFT to partner with Mr. McKamey in his success,” said a spokesman for Modern Fence Technologies.
