Independent feature film “Quiet As Kept” is in the final stages of releasing their buzz trailer and indiegogo campaign. The cast members Jensen Atwood from Noah’s Arc and Janora McDuffie from Grey’s Anatomy, Maya Washington and Freckles “The Writer” are excited about the release and would love your support. It’s a film about family, the secrets that break us and the love that makes us whole. If you’ve seen Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and the Havenots”, “Love Thy Neighbor”, “Temptation” or “For Better of Worse” then “Quiet As Kept” is a-must see.
Make a mash up of James Brown and Bob Marley then add a young Latin band to the mix. You’d have The Delirians. Under the management of Philip “Fish” Fisher (Fishbone) and Enterwerks Entertainment Group these young men are preparing to release their next album. BeCreation is preparing to launch their new website.
Representing Ghana and Cali, Hip Hop Artist/Producer Soul Nana is stepping out as a solo artist with releases like “Dedicated” from his upcoming album Planet Afrika. Soul Nana, the son of Rim Kwaku Obeng, a famous West African drummer who played for Fela Kuti, is no stranger to his African heritage. Nor is he unfamiliar with the trials & tribulations of his African American upbringing. With tribute tracks such as “Nigga Phobia” inspired by the Trayvon Martin story, Soul Nana has caused quite a stir in the blogosphere. A stir which lends itself to discussions like that of CNN's Don Lemon's "The Power of the N Word." As a producer Soul Nana most recently produced a track with BET AWARDS 2013 Nominated Mugeez of R2Bees, featuring both Bishop Lamont and Nikki Grier.
The band Mortasay is in the studio working on their premiere album, which is being made in conjunction with their feature film project. This project is near and dear to our hearts, which will be revealed later. We’ve been excited to be apart of it since it’s inception.
