A nutritious diet and exercise plan has long been known to be important to reducing the risk of disease. However, one study now specifically links healthy lifestyles to lower risks associated with aggressive prostate cancer, making supplements like Prescopodene (which aid in appetite control and enhancing energy) helpful with improving men’s ability to prevent or fight this serious condition.
According to research from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) which was released on June 27, 2013, there are eight lifestyle recommendations from the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF). These involve having optimal ranges of Body Mass Index (BMI), physical activity, low-calorie food, fruits and non-starchy veggies, sodium, beans and unrefined grains, and red meat consumption.
In regard to these eight areas, the researchers studied 2212 men who were either African American or Caucasian American. The men ranged from 40 to 70 years of age and they had all just recently received a prostate cancer diagnosis.
What they found is that the men who only adhered to four of the optimal ranges or less had a 38% higher chance of having the aggressive tumors. In fact, each point that was adhered to in addition to the four factors decreases the risk by 13%. This was the same for both races, even though the African American men had a higher risk factor to begin with.
These findings suggest that a man who lives a healthy lifestyle have a greater chance of either avoiding prostate cancer altogether or slowing its aggression. Supplements such as Prescopodene may help with this in that it suppresses appetite, increases energy and aids in weight loss. And, it contains all-natural ingredients such as green tea, grape seed extract, vitamin C and ginger root.
