Phoenix TS Becomes a USO Proud Patriot
Columbia, MD (PRWEB) July 01, 2013 -- As the nation prepares to celebrate 237 years of freedom this Independence Day, Phoenix TS proudly announces their participation in the USO’s Proud Patriots Club. Freedom comes with a price and it is in honor of the men and women proudly serving in our armed forces that Phoenix TS has pledged this monthly donation. The management and IT training center, headquartered in Columbia, MD, has been a proud supporter of our troops since the company’s inception in 1998 and this is just one more way it will mark its gratitude and commitment to our nation’s military.
The United Service Organizations (USO) is a private, nonprofit, congressionally chartered group that began in 1941 under the direction of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Today the USO has evolved to bring the U.S. military and their families as much support as possible while they work tirelessly to serve our nation. The donations the USO receives from their Proud Patriot members allow the organization to provide its many services to active-duty military, including:

• Entertainment Tours
Monthly contributions to the USO Proud Patriots Club provide a greater sense of financial security for the organization, allowing them to concentrate on providing services to the U.S. military instead of fundraising efforts. Phoenix TS is proud to join the other members of the Proud Patriots Club in making a difference in the lives of millions of troops each month with their donation.
The CEO of Phoenix TS, Ben Tchoubineh said, “We are so grateful for everything our nation’s military has done for us and through hiring, training and now donating to veterans and active-duty military, we are able to repay the favor in a small way. We can never fully express our appreciation for their service but we hope through this pledge we can provide some much needed and continued financial support.”
Phoenix TS is excited to begin its contribution to the USO’s efforts of making the 2.5 million members of the U.S. military feel at home during their service to our nation. The announcement couldn’t have come at a better time either, as the nation celebrates everything the military has sacrificed in honor of this country. The IT and management certification center has built its reputation on providing quality training to members of the US military for IT, project management and cyber security related positions. Additionally, the center provides approved DoD 8570.01 certification training and is MyCAA approved by the DoD to provide training services to military members and their spouses, respectively.
