Poulsbo's Little Norway Hosts Its Annual 3rd of July Celebration
Poulsbo, WA (PRWEB) July 03, 2013 -- Yes there will be fireworks this year in Poulsbo's Washington States Little Norway!
When: Wednesday, July 3, 2013, with booths opening at noon and entertainment mid afternoon.
Where: Muriel Iverson Edwards Waterfront Park and Anderson Parkway in downtown Poulsbo.
What: The City of Poulsbo and Viking Fest Corporation are hosting "Poulsbo’s Fireworks on the 3rd." Come see the beautiful sights and sounds of Historic Downtown Poulsbo. Enjoy a great meal from any of the great restaurants. Contemporary Navy Band, “Passage,” is playing for your entertainment at the Kvelstad Pavilion in Liberty Bay Park beginning at 8:00 p.m. Watch for updates on the schedule at http://www.thirdofjuly.org.
The fireworks will start about 10:15 p.m. with a beautiful show for you, your family, and your friends. Make your plans now to bring your boats or your lawn chairs and the kids for a night of fun to celebrate the birth of the USA.
Who: Volunteers from Poulsbo and Viking Fest Corporation (a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation). Safeway is our Title Sponsor. Safeway is building a new store at the corner of Highway 305 and Hostmark. Many other firms are providing support, both monetary and in the form of discounted goods or services.

Places to park in downtown Poulsbo are limited. Those vehicles with Disability placards can park at the Edward Jones Investment Offices, 19032 Jensen Way NE, or across the street in front of the former City Hall on Jensen Way. All other attendees may park at the North Kitsap High School and Junior High Campuses and ride the shuttle bus to downtown ($2.00 roundtrip charge for those 5 years of age and over). A similar shuttle bus will transport passengers between College Marketplace and downtown. Buses will operate from 5 p.m. to midnight.
