Andrea E. Hirsch Joins Mediation.com Mediator Network
(PRWEB) July 13, 2013 -- Mediated cases are typically resolved more quickly, allowing parties to work together to generate mutual agreements. With extensive experience, Ms. Hirsch is a leader in collaborative practice with a dedicated history in alternative dispute resolution. She is a founding member of the Collaborative Dispute Resolution Professionals and the DC Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She’s also active in the Maryland Collaborative Practice Council and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Ms. Hirsch believes that although there are many other facets of the law where parties deserve their day in court, disputes in the realm of family law are often charged with emotions, which can become hostile in the courtroom. Opting to use collaborative divorce and mediation, however, allows parties to work respectfully with one another and avoid the confrontational nature of litigation. Ms. Hirsch has witnessed the power of mediation with numerous couples who were able to address some of their issues through the experience and skills of a trained mediator.
Ms. Hirsch received her law degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law and she is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the DC Women’s Bar Association and currently holds licenses to practice in D.C., Maryland, and California. Since 2010, Ms. Hirsch has been a principal at the Collaborative Practice Center of Greater Washington, of which she was a co-founder in September 2010. She brings years of experience to the table and is looking forward to helping even more clients use alternative dispute resolution.
