A Little About Us
Toolfetch was launched in 2002 by a couple of brothers who had grown up in a family full of handy men in the industrial tool business who possessed a wealth of knowledge about tools. The founding family of Toolfetch has over 80 years of experience in supplying quality equipment for auto, construction, electrical, plumbing, material handling, welding and more. Toolfetch currently carries over 300,000 products from over 300 different manufacturers. We are constantly tweaking our inventory and adding new products to make sure to keep up with the ever changing needs of our valued customers. The Toolfetch headquarters are situated in in Mamaroneck, New York.
In 2002, Toolfetch noticed that e-commerce was taking off and decided to take advantage of an opportunity to take their company online and grow their business and inventory to over 300,000 different products and seven different categories. Toolfetch products are available nationwide and to over 300 international countries all through e-commerce and mobile commerce channels. We serve a wide ranging base of clientele including everyone from Fortune 500 companies, to government agencies and universities, to the average everyday consumers.
How Toolfetch has Grown
In our 10+ years of e-commerce experience, we have grown tremendously and have experienced many personal milestones. For example, in 2007 Toolfetch was named a top 500 Internet retailer by Internet Retailer Magazine. In 2008 we introduced three new categories of equipment; electronics, banking and office supplies. In 2010 we launched our mobile site so that customers could conveniently purchase the supplies they need remotely.
Toolfetch has also been praised in several publications such as the E-Commerce Times, Chief Marketing Officer and Internet Retailer Magazine. In Internet Retailer Magazine and InternetRetailer.com alone, we have appeared 6 times between March 2001 and February 2012.
