Demos Medical Publishing announces the release of the company’s first apps, including Neurology Video Textbook, Ultimate Q&A Review for Neurology Boards, Q&A Review for Neurocritical Care Boards, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Q&A Review.

Neurology Video Textbook, just released, is also the first neurology app using videos of actual patient examinations and case histories. The iPad® app, also available on DVD or PC or Mac® download, offers access to over 300 real-life case studies and videos of patient examinations, as well as neurologic pathologies and exam findings.

Ultimate Q&A Review for Neurology Boards, set for release in July, is a question-and-answer review and quiz study app for candidates preparing for Neurology Boards, in-training exams, or recertification. It will be available for iOS platforms, including the iPad and iPhone®. Next up is Q&A Review for Neurocritical Care Boards, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Q&A Review. These apps, to be released in the next few months, also offer review and self-testing capabilities for anytime study and exam prep in their respective fields.

“Medical students, residents, and clinicians increasingly rely on smart phones and tablet computers for medical learning and training,” said Pascal Schwarzer, the Vice President of Digital Business Development at Demos Medical Publishing. “We are pleased to meet the needs of physicians and medical students by providing trusted clinical content wherever and whenever it is needed.”

The release of these apps marks the next step in Demos Medical’s digital publishing program, which includes a robust eBook program, as well as DVDs and interactive software for medical training and education.
