“It is our privilege to support the vital work of the Red Cross,” said Leonard Armato creator and producer of the ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball. “Almost every person is touched by their outstanding efforts in one-way-or-another. As a global event, we are proud to help support their efforts. When an international crisis occurs the Red Cross is there to help those in need. We are thrilled to be able to offer them a platform through our event to further their mission to help generate funds, volunteers and exposure.”
A big fan of professional beach volleyball and admirer of Walsh Jennings, actress and author Röhm was excited to lend her support on behalf of the American Red Cross partnership to increase awareness and generate funds for the life-saving work that affects so many people.
“I have seen the work of the Red Cross firsthand on the ground here in LA and as far away as on the other side of the world in Cambodia,” said Röhm. "As a mother, the Red Cross mission is personal for me when I think about how to keep my own family safe. This partnership has the potential to be so powerful, if we can inspire viewers around the world join in. We can learn to save lives, be safe on the beach, and get involved in an incredibly important mission -- providing relief where there is suffering in the world.”
