gloops Day at Texas Rangers Ballpark on July 2nd
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 02, 2013 -- gloops, Inc is pleased to announce that, in conjunction with Sponsorship Partner The Texas Rangers, the July 2nd game against the Seattle Mariners at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas has been designated "gloops Day." The first 30,000 visitors to the game will receive an original fedora hat with the logos of both organizations, and children affiliated with the Reviving Baseball in the Inner City project will be invited to participate in a Pop-Up contest before the game and to watch from a special stadium box suite.
Stadium attendees of gloops Day will also be able to see the premiere trailer for gloops’ new social baseball strategy game, a soon-to-be-released title officially licensed by MLB Advanced Media, the MLB Players Association, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum. More information about the game can be found at http://www.gloopsgames.com.
In addition to the sponsorship agreement with the Texas Rangers, gloops has participated in a number of other CSR programs including last year’s “TOMODACHI Initiative,” through which the “Ishinomaki Little Senior” junior high school baseball team from Miyagi, Japan was invited to visit the United States and participate in the opening ceremony of a Texas Rangers game, and play a friendly cross-cultural match against a local little league.

About the Texas Rangers
The Texas Rangers are one of just two teams in Major League Baseball to participate in postseason play in each of the last three seasons (2010-12). The club won back-to-back American League Championships in 2010 and 2011, the first A.L. team to accomplish that feat since the 1998-2001 New York Yankees. Under manager Ron Washington, Texas has won at least 90 games in three straight years. The team plays its home games in the beautiful Rangers Ballpark in Arlington and finished third in the Majors in average attendance per game in 2012 with a club record total of 3,460,280 fans. Over the last several years, the Rangers have placed a major emphasis on international scouting, including the Pacific Rim.
