Information Systems Resources President/CEO Luther Elliott Named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2013 Finalist in Michigan & Northwest Ohio

Luther Elliott started Information Systems Resources Inc. out of his Farmington Hills home 16 years ago, he had no idea his company would see its fastest growth not by selling, deploying or servicing computers, but in taking care of equipment not used anymore. Information Systems Resources customers today include Fortune 1000 accounts large health-care organizations and financial institutions. Luther’s biggest success was when he received a multiyear multimillion dollar agreement with Caretech Solutions, an IT and health information management outsourcing company for hospitals and health systems. ISR served CareTech’s largest client the Detroit Medical Center and several others. Luther serves as a major contributor ad partner with Focus Hope and its Computer Training Institute providing inner- city IT candidates with job opportunities and career advancement. He also contributes to other causes, including National Association of Black Automotive Suppliers Scholarship Fund.
The key to ISR’s growth according to Luther is its service divisions, which are growing at a pace of over 30 percent annually. Luther is very proud of the Six Sigma system of quality, efficiency and management. This system has been adopted by many high-profile successful Fortune 1000 companies. Elliott also competed against much larger companies for the Blue Cross Blue Shields contract and was successful because of ISR’s cost-effectiveness.
