New Growth Coach Owner Brings Business, Education Knowledge to Coaching
Key Largo, FL (PRWEB) July 01, 2013 -- Michele Beach knows what it’s like to let work take over your life. As a business owner and former teacher, she’s been the victim of short days with overwhelming obligations and understands what it’s like to lose track of your priorities.
Beach is hoping her new business venture – opening The Growth Coach in The Florida Keys and South Miami-Dade County – will help others avoid the trap she fell into.
“I joined The Growth Coach team because I believe in the philosophy of Driving Success while Balancing Life. Being a teacher and also a business owner of successful franchises, I understand how easy it is to become swallowed up by the business beast. The Growth Coach has taught me how to balance my time and I want to bring that to others,” Beach said.

Beach holds degrees in early childhood education, special education and computer technology in education. In addition to her teaching experience and being a realtor, Beach worked as the executive director of an animal care center and has owned multiple UPS stores, an arts and crafts store, and a computer services company. In addition, Beach serves on the board of directors for multiple organizations including the Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce and MarrVelous Pet Rescues and is a past board member for the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce, EcoWeek and FIRM (Fair Insurance Rates for Monroe) and spends a significant amount of time volunteering in the community.
“Having been a teacher for over a decade and the owner of multiple businesses, I have been wearing a coaching hat for many years, inspiring students and customers,” she said. “After seeing the haggard and overworked faces of many stressed out business owners who run into my stores, I want to help them fall back in love with their business. My goal is to help busy entrepreneurs slow down, reflect, and get strategic in how they run their businesses and personal lives.”
Pilates in Paradise owner Christi Allen, who has known Michele for a decade, is excited to see her take on this new role as the owner of The Growth Coach of Key Largo.
“In the 10 years I’ve known Michele, I’ve seen her perform in many different arenas – from non-profit organizations to businesses. Michele always takes the reigns and guides everyone to reach heights you’d never thought you could reach. She’s going to make a great Growth Coach because coaching takes those elements she loves and work with more people from throughout the community,” Allen said. “Michele is held in very high regards in our community and it’s for good reason.”
