JB Knowledge Technologies, Inc. Announces the 2013 Construction Technology Integration Survey
Bryan, TX (PRWEB) July 02, 2013 -- First presented at the 2012 Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) IT Forum in Chicago, the Construction Technology Integration (CTI) Survey is now in its second year and the data is expected to bring new insight to adoption of construction technology. In 2012, over 450 industry professionals answered questions about their companies’ cloud-based construction software usage, mobile expectations, and application integrations. In 2013, JB Knowledge Technologies, Inc., developers of the SmartBidNet construction bid software, hopes to learn how cloud solution adoption among construction professionals has changed over the last year. In addition, the survey aims to reveal how fears of security in the cloud conflict with builders’ needs for customization, integration, mobilization and collaboration.
“We were extremely pleased with the response to our 2012 survey and we’re excited to have a second round of data to not only highlight the current state of technology adoption, but also compare it to where we stood as an industry one year ago. Last year the survey confirmed many assumptions on cloud adoption but also surprised us with a few outliers, such as how many companies were implementing BIM. I’m eager to see how the industry’s tech usage has changed in the last 12 months,” stated JBKnowledge President James Benham.
The final report will serve as an industry indicator and hold valuable information pertaining to technology usage in some of the top construction firms in the United States and Canada.
