I Am Second, a non-profit movement started in 2008, featuring inspirational stories of hope and faith that have taken off all over the world is now launching a new giving initiative called “Seconds Change” (http://iamsecond.com/secondschange), allowing fans to give a small amount towards expanding the audience and reach of I am Second films, while also providing unique opportunities for fans to get involved in behind the scenes making of the films and other projects.

Seconds Change embraces the core followers of the I am Second movement as advocates of the impactful transformational change occurring in the lives of millions who view I am Second films. From large group viewings to small group curriculum, from youth initiatives to senior outreaches, I am Second films are catalysts for heightening the spiritual temperatures of people around the world. The message of I am Second, namely, putting the things of God (Jesus) and needs of others ahead of ourselves, has become a rallying cry for different people groups all over the world.

“We constantly hear stories of people whose lives have been dramatically transformed through the short films and also the requests for wanting to be further involved in the movement. Seconds Change is an opportunity to empower our fans to join us in the common mission to take these films to new audiences all over the world and celebrate these stories of transformation,” says Mike Jorgensen, I am Second Executive Director.

I am Second films have been viewed over 30 million times and people from 220 countries/territories have visited iamsecond.com since its launch. 2.5 billion media impressions along with grassroots expeditions and promotions in 40 countries have brought the movement to multiple languages and cultures. New full-length projects are also planned, the first a new mini-documentary on the journey and story of Brian “Head” Welch, lead guitarist of the band Korn.

Donating to Seconds Change offers a way for fans to participate in daily I am Second media activities. The seamless starting point is found at iamsecond.com/secondschange with a simple initial donation level of “2 on 2, ” comprising of $2 on every Tuesday.

When people join Seconds Change they are able to screen and promote new films, access the private Facebook page for behind the scenes film footage, provide ideas for new stories, and receive discounts on I am Second merchandise, among other rewards.
