Arizona Carpet and Tile Installation Announces New Hardwood Types
(PRWEB) July 01, 2013 -- A leader in carpet and tile replacement as well, Arizona Carpet and Tile Installation introduces two hardwood types for one’s next hardwood floor installation in the Phoenix-Metropolitan areas. Highly rated in customer service, it is a priority for Az Carpet and Tile to deliver as much information about their products, and installation procedures, before they begin any job. For instance, it is imperative that every customer understands the benefits and unique purposes of both hardwood type options.
The first type of hardwood, solid wood, is a natural, “solid” piece of wood usually made with a ¾” thickness. This type of wood is generally more expensive, but has the aesthetic advantage over other types. It can also be recoated and finished several times, making it capable of looking “like new” for long periods of time. Installing solid wood flooring requires extra preparation, however, and can only be placed down on an approved wood subfloor due to humidity and temperature changes. Az Carpet and Tile provides this type in multiple species such as oak, walnut, american cherry, maple, and hickory.
Arizona Carpet and Tile Installation now offers, in addition to solid wood, the engineered wood type. This hardwood type is a less expensive option than the solid wood type, but does not carry the same type of natural appearance. It is, though, a more versatile and flexible option, coming in an array of sizes, thicknesses, and colors. And unlike solid wood, engineered wood can be glued-down as well as stapled or nailed.
