ServiceRocket Expands Operations to South America
PALO ALTO, Calif. (PRWEB) July 02, 2013 -- ServiceRocket, the trusted services partner for today’s fastest growing software companies such as Atlassian, Box, Cloudera, ElasticSearch, GoodData, Kaazing and Zendesk, today announced the opening of its Santiago, Chile operations. ServiceRocket SpA will expand the depth and scale of the company’s expert technical support capabilities to better service its global customer base. ServiceRocket expects to staff at least twenty employees in its Santiago, Chile office within the next year.
The new office joins existing offices in Palo Alto, CA, Sydney, Australia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to provide ServiceRocket customers around the clock access to expert support services for the company’s technology partners. In addition to providing technical support to customers in Latin America, the eastern United States and Europe, ServiceRocket SpA will also house an eLearning production studio to expand the availability of on-demand training offerings.
“It’s a simple fact that support quality is best during normal waking hours when support personnel are in the office,” said Robert Castaneda, founder and CEO of ServiceRocket. “Opening operations in Chile was a logical and necessary step in achieving our goal of providing the best global support services for today’s fast growing software companies. We’re excited to have an exceptional team in place with the ability to attract the region’s top technical talent as we expand our operations over the coming weeks.”
“As the leading provider of real-time web and mobile communication, Kaazing shares ServiceRocket’s commitment to providing world-class support to our global customer base,” said Jonas Jacobi, CEO & Co-Founder, Kaazing. “We’re very supportive of ServiceRocket’s global expansion strategy to deliver amazing, enterprise-class service for their customers.”
Chile was chosen as the home for ServiceRocket’s Latin American operations due to its stable economy, international transportation centers, and deep talent pool of trained software professionals. The country also received the highest rating of any Latin American country by DoingBusiness.org, which ranks global economies based upon how conducive it is for starting and operating a local business.
“Chile and Australia share a healthy and growing economic trade relationship,” said Dan Sullivan, Australian Trade Commissioner, Santiago, Chile. “Australian companies are significant investors in Chile and as with ServiceRocket, this is not limited to the resources sector. They see Chile as an attractive market and a solid platform for growth into greater Latin America.”
