Red Noland Auto Group Remains Committed to Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo
Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) July 04, 2013 -- Red Noland Auto Group will play a large role in this year’s upcoming Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo scheduled for July 10-13th at the Norris-Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs. The nonprofit event is one of the top rodeos in the country and proceeds from the rodeo go towards supporting local military charities.
Mike Jorgensen, Red Noland Cadillac President, is serving as this year’s president of the all-volunteer Rodeo’s Board of Directors. Jorgensen said, “Red Noland is proud to be a part of this premiere rodeo event that helps to preserve our Western heritage while at the same time supporting such a great cause as our local military families.”

Not only do Red Noland employees volunteer their time at the Rodeo, but the company generously contributes to the event as well as does their share of fundraising. A longtime Colorado Springs tradition, the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo first started in 1937 and attracts some of the top cowboys and cowgirls from around the country to compete for almost $200,000 in prize money. The event is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and is attended by nearly 30,000 people each year. Some of the top highlights include bull riding, bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, and a crowd favorite, the mutton bustin’. There is food and lots of pre-show activities on the grounds such as gold panning, trick rope demos, and pony rides just to name a few.
