Quality Mat Company Helps Raise $75,000 for Young Life in South Texas
Beaumont, TX (PRWEB) July 16, 2013 -- This summer started peachy with $75,000 raised in the annual peaches fundraiser to benefit the Young Life Organization in Southeast Texas. Helping to load peaches wasn’t enough for Quality Mat Company, an access mats manufacturer and regular supporter of local charities, but the organization also purchased peaches to donate a majority to local nursing homes and food banks.
Peaches Fundraiser
The annual peaches fundraiser held in June helps raise money for the Young Life in Southeast Texas organization. For just $50, a person enjoys a crate of fresh, sweet and delicious Georgia Peaches, while the money is used to help fund a variety of events and activities for the Young Life in Southeast Texas organization.
A Company that Cares

Penland encourages more companies to ‘pass it along’ and make contributions, go the extra mile or help organizations with a local impact, such as Young Life. Not only did Quality Mat purchase 170 cases of peaches to benefit Young Life, but they donated a large majority to local good banks and nursing homes, with the rest going to employees of the family run Quality Mat Company.
