Orange County Bail Bonds Celebrates its 50th Anniversary with 20% Discount
Santa Ana, CA (PRWEB) July 12, 2013 -- Orange County Bail Bonds is proud to announce their 50th anniversary in the bail bonds service. Established in 1963, Orange County Bail Bonds is a family owned and operated company. With their main office located in the Civic Center Law Building in Santa Ana, Orange County Bail Bonds is located directly across the street from the Orange County Main Jail and the Santa Ana City Jail. In celebration of its 50th Anniversary serving the Southland, we are offering a 20% discount on top of their already low rates for any new bonds written before August 31st, 2013.
On June 25, 1963, Michael Yoakum Sr. opened Yoakum Bail Bonds in Pasadena, California. Years later, his wife Dorothy Hart joined the company and then she went on to own Hart Bail Bonds. Yoakum’s operation expanded to a location on Vignes Street, across from the Los Angeles Twin Towers jail, where he opened Los Angeles County Bail Bonds.
Mike’s nephew, Bob Miller and his wife Anne opened Orange County Bail Bonds in 1995 in Santa Ana. In 1998 Mike Sr. retired and Bob and Anne took over Los Angeles County Bail Bonds. In 2002 they decided that they wanted to spend all their attention and energy in serving the bail bond needs of Orange County families. So, they sold Los Angeles County Bail Bonds and purchased the office building where they are currently located.
Since that time, Orange County Bail Bonds has expanded its services to meet the bail bond needs in all of Orange County including the cities of Anaheim, Fullerton, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, and Huntington Beach.
The history of Orange County Bail Bonds includes hurricanes and fires. In 1985, Bob moved to St. Thomas a small tourist island in the Caribbean, owned a restaurant and purchased a Jeep dealership that was severely impacted when Hurricane Hugo destroyed much of the island in 1989. But Bob saw an opportunity in the disaster and purchased a famous tourist attraction and turned it around after it was nearly closed due to the effects of the hurricane. Bob met Anne in St. Thomas married, moved back to Orange County to raise their son James and open Orange County Bail Bonds. Then in November 2006, the second floor of the building of his bail bonds company that he owned was completely destroyed by fire and took him nearly two years to rebuild.
During its long history, our company continues to take pride in their quick, friendly service at very low rates. Bonds cost as low as 8 percent and collateral is also not always required. Additionally, an agent is always in the office and available 24 hours a day. Our bail bonds services include numerous types of bail bonds including assault, drug, dui, domestic violence, burglary, felony, immigration, and misdemeanor.
Orange County Bail Bonds looks forward to continued success in serving its community and attributes its honors to its dedicated staff. In addition to Bob and Anne Miller, the bond agency staff includes their son, James; cousin Michael Yoakum Jr.; and Scott Miner.
