Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) July 03, 2013 -- Brian Kawasaki has been promoted to president of Advanced Discovery, the leading provider of eDiscovery services to law firms and corporate legal clients around the world. Kawasaki previously served as the executive vice president of technology solutions, where he oversaw the Client Services Team, Hosting Operations and Technology Solutions groups.
Kawasaki said he is excited to be stepping into this position during a time when Advanced Discovery is expanding its offerings to serve an evolving eDiscovery market:
“The Electronic Discovery marketplace today is looking for added value, depth of expertise and qualified resources,” Kawasaki said. “Advanced Discovery’s continued development of our customized solutions, with dedicated support from our expert team members, has us poised to continue our rapid growth for years to come, as the eDiscovery and Managed Review space continues to evolve.”
In his previous role, Kawasaki developed expert workflow design and provided client consulting. As the vice president of technology solutions, he led project management and technical support teams for ESI processing, forensics and review hosting. He also spearheaded Advanced Discovery’s development of FirstLookTM Early Case Assessment, which is used within the Relativity platform for concept clustering, email threading and duplicate detection, as well as AdvancedVisibilityTM, a proprietary real-time tracking and reporting system for the EDRM lifecycle.
CEO of Advanced Discovery Mike Driver said, “Brian has been a valuable team member for several years. He earned this position through dedication, hard work and his lasting influence on the people of our multifaceted company.”
Driver highlighted Kawasaki’s leadership ability and his knowledge of industry standards as additional reasons for Driver’s promotion. As a vice president, Kawasaki provided hundreds of trainings and technology demonstrations and led the development of customizable workflows. His written and verbal communication are accessible by clients with all levels of technical expertise, a much needed skill in a leadership position like the one he is now assuming.
Kawasaki is a graduate of Roosevelt University, a Relativity certified administrator and a Clearwell certified administrator. He has broad experience designing, consulting and training in the use of text analytics for legal analysis and designing and managing foreign language review.
“I am very excited to have Brian in his new role,” Driver said. “He has the knowledge and personality to take this company to the next level.”
Kawasaki gives credit to all employees of Advanced Discovery for the company’s success.
“Our dedicated team will continue to develop the industry’s leading solutions for Electronic Discovery and Managed Document Review with exceptional quality and service and to ensure our continued growth and expansion,” Kawasaki said.
