Subaru NZ Launches Alpine Pack to Enhance Its Latest Models

(PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- Here is some great news for skiers, snowboarders and/or mountaineers or for those of you who enjoy outdoor activities and need to transport your gear. The team at Subaru have put together an ‘Alpine Pack’ to enhance the Subaru Outback, Forester, XV and Legacy Wagon models. The Alpine Pack, with a swathe of extra equipment, is valued at over $3000 and includes carpet mats, cargo tray, roof cross bars and front and rear bumper garnishes - this is on all models except the Legacy Wagon, and a rear step panel is on all except the XV model. The Legacy Wagon also gets a tow bar and weather shields, while the XV model adds side sill garnishes, and the Forester gets a tow bar.

All vehicles with Alpine Packs also receive two day ski passes to the Ruapehu ski fields which makes the whole Alpine Pack idea enormously attractive to prospective buyers. As Daile Stephens, Subaru New Zealand’s Marketing Manager says, “These Alpine Packs are ideal for those heading for the ski fields, but are just as practical for any kind of Kiwi outdoors lifestyle.” Daile goes on to say that “The roof cross bars facilitate the use of specialised racks for bikes, canoes, surfing, fishing and ski gear. And the cargo tray keeps the luggage area clean and dry when there is dirty or wet gear to be carried anywhere.”

The partnership with Ruapehu Alpine Lifts is due to Subaru being the official vehicle supplier for over ten years. The staff on the Ruapehu ski fields have been using a variety of Subaru All Wheel Drive vehicles to get to work each day, no matter what the weather for many years and look forward to welcoming Subaru drivers up the mountain this season.

Alpine Packs are available from $40,990 on the XV, $45,490 with the Forester, $48,990 on the Legacy Wagon and with the Outback from $49,990. The Alpine Packs are only available on all New Zealand new Subaru XV, Legacy, Outback and Forester models until 30 September 2013.
