Legal Jobs Increasing in 2013, says BCG Attorney Search

With many small law firms starting to merge their resources and firms, there is scope that new legal jobs will be created in the near future.
While James Leipold, Executive Director at national Association for Law Placement (NALP), says that the employment picture remains decidedly mixed for the class of 2012, the beginning of a rebounding private practice sector is being noticed, particularly at large law firms. An increase in the salary figures can also be observed with this rebounding.
Overall the legal jobs market is picking up momentum. Denver, Houston, Dallas, Miami and Pittsburg are especially showing a greater market for legal job seekers, as per a 20 June article on The Careerist. These regions are foreseen to be the biggest winners for increasing the percentage of legal jobs in the country this year.
