Bubba Takes the Limelight in London’s Covent Garden
Birmingham, West Midlands (PRWEB UK) 5 July 2013 -- London’s Covent Garden housed golf star Bubba Watson’s widely recognisable form recently, in one of the latest visual merchandising campaigns by Green Room Retail in conjunction with Oakley.
As a US Masters winner, Bubba is the face of the new campaign for the widely successful brand. This means that he will be the focal point for the companies main window display at the flagship store. A large pop art image of Bubba behind suspended graphics and under a banner reading ‘Viva La Bubba’ will make the main part of the window display. Golf clubs and balls as well as other accessories will be used to create a layered and 3D effect.
The stone framed window displays will be home to the main part of the design throughout the multi panel windows. The second and third windows will carry the layered theme effect too, to help promote Oakley’s golf apparel range.
Green Room’s senior account director leading the project, Ross Adam stated:
“Oakley’s relationship with Bubba Watson is creative and unconventional and our work for the Covent Garden store aims to echo this sentiment. The grand 19th Century architecture of the window continues to present us with a fantastic frame in which to have some fun and appeal to the visual senses of the millions of shoppers and tourists frequenting one of London’s most popular locations.”
As the fifteenth window display for Green Room Retail in collaboration with Oakley at their Covent Garden store, it forms part of a bigger picture of retail projects that will include a window roll-out for Oakley across their European retail estate. As well as this wide scale campaign, most recently, an exhibition stand at the ISPO in Munich covering 260 square meters has been secured.
