The Kids II® packaging team won six package and point-of-purchase (p-o-p) design awards across several categories in the Graphic Design USA’s 2013 American Package Awards competition. This highly selective competition sponsored by Graphic Design USA magazine, now in its 50th year, recognizes outstanding graphic design produced by creative professionals and their companies.
The winners forged an “emotional connection with the purchaser at the moment of truth,” according to Graphic Design USA.

Winning entries from Kids II included packaging for the Taggies™ Carrier Cushion Package, Disney Baby™ The Lion King Convert Me Swing-2-Seat Premier™, Taggies™ Huggable Soother Pal™ Package and Disney Baby™ Minnie Mouse™ Precious Petals Playard™ Package . In the point-of-purchase category, winning products included the Bright Starts™ Monkey Business™ Bouncer and Disney Baby™ Princess Flowers & Fairytales™ Bouncer.
Graphic Design USA’s American Package Awards competition was established to honor outstanding work in packaging, p-o-p and related projects. The contest was open to advertising agencies, graphic design firms, corporate in-house departments, and others.
Kids II award-winning packages and p-o-p are featured in the Graphic Design USA 2013 spring publication and online on their website.
More than 1,600 entries worldwide were submitted for 2013. Other organizations that won recognition this year include AT&T, Campbell Soup, General Mills, Kraft, and Starbucks.
