WhenToManage Expands POS and Food Supplier Integrations into Its Comprehensive Reporting & Intelligence Software
Norwalk, CT (PRWEB) July 10, 2013 -- WhenToManage, the leading innovator of cloud-based software for the restaurant, hospitality and retail industries, announced today the latest product release available for its subscription-based software solution. Key upgrades include integration with Micros point-of-sale systems, as well as a number of major industry suppliers for inventory management. These enhancements enable WhenToManage customers to manage and analyze all data from one easy-to-use reporting platform which strongly supports efforts to decrease overhead and increase revenues.
With the new integration of Micros POS (3700 and e7), WhenToManage’s solutions work with all popular POS systems while also offering flexible and open APIs (Application Programming Interface) for further customization. These integrations allow WhenToManage users to collect and integrate all data across locations and systems for improved POS Intelligence, inventory management and employee scheduling. In fact, WhenToManage offers the ability to integrate data from several different POS systems into one platform for customers who deploy multiple POS vendors across locations but seek one management tool for data management.
WhenToManage’s new invoice management integrations with a variety of broad-line suppliers -- US Foods, McClane, Gordon Foods and Sysco -- allow users to import invoices and order information from these suppliers directly through the WhenToManage inventory solution. By bundling this information into the WhenToManage reporting and intelligence software, users are able to access and utilize data that enables better food and beverage cost control; inventory tracking and reporting; ordering and purchase history; recipe definitions and costing; and menu sales and profit analysis.
“We are continuously innovating new product features in keeping with our goal to stay in front of and provide the best solutions to our customers,” says Jeff Schacher, CEO and founder, WhenToManage. “We want our technologies to not only maximize ROI, but also simplify the daily tasks that plague the industries we serve, creating an enhanced working experience and better overall environment.”
Other just-introduced product features include significantly enhanced mobile tablet inventory applications tablets to track production and receipt preparation, transfer product from one location to another, generate inventory-specific reports from anywhere, and track waste for minimized loss.
So what’s next from the industry’s top innovator? Later this year, WhenToManage will fully deploy its new technology platform, called Peach, which will host a wide array of new apps from WhenToManage, as well as offer the ability for customers to create their own apps using the open platform. Customers looking for simple, from-the-ground-up solutions for their specific needs will be able to utilize the Peach platform to develop a customized turn-key solution, with minimal monetary and time investments. Currently, WhenToManage is offering a “taste” of what’s to come on Peach by making its new restaurant manager LOG application available at no cost to users. LOG is designed to replace restaurant managers’ daily notebooks and clipboards. It automates management of all tasks by sending notifications to the manager, and/or other team members who have not completed an assignment. It can be used in one location or hundreds. You can get the complimentary LOG app by clicking here: https://apps.whentomanage.com/signup.
