Austin, TX (PRWEB) July 08, 2013 -- Macheen Inc., a leading mobile cloud application service provider for connected devices, today announced it has named three new members to its leadership team:
• Derek Brown, Vice President, EMEA
• George Kanuck, Vice President, Sales and Business Development
• Grant Hartline, Vice President, Carrier and Network Operations
All three will join the executive team and report directly to CEO, Greg Stock.
Macheen continues to build on its success and is growing rapidly. The disruptive technology, Pinpoint Services, intelligently increases productivity by enabling users to get to key content, applications and cloud services any time, all the time, and from any device. This capability is resonating with large enterprises, device makers and content partners across the globe. As a result, the company is aggressively ramping up with new people, technology and services.
“The market opportunity is massive and we are proactively building the company with a broad base of skills to handle the growth across the globe,” states Greg Stock, CEO of Macheen. “I am thrilled to announce the appointment of our three new VPs to the executive team. They will undoubtedly help us continue to accelerate our business and build on the momentum we have already seen in the marketplace.”
Derek Brown has over 25 years of experience in sales and management, selling large IT Solutions across a broad range of industry sectors covering supply chain, logistics, field service and customer experience. Derek has demonstrated success in a host of companies including Manugistics, Vastera and Vovici (Verint). Derek is based outside of London and in his role as Vice President, he will run the EMEA business unit.
Large Enterprises are dealing with the collision of two macro forces; more employees are becoming mobile, while at the same time, more applications are moving to the cloud. Where the two forces intersect, there is a major challenge as an unconnected device is a dead device. The traditional data plans have been too cost prohibitive to broadly deploy in the enterprise, so most employees just sit unproductive a large amount of the time. Macheen has developed the disruptive technology that enables organizations around the word to solve this problem and save costs at the same time.
George Kanuck, Vice President Sales and Business Development, has over 16 years of success creating high growth SaaS, software and services revenue streams at companies such as Dun & Bradstreet, Hoover’s and Vovici. Most recently, George served as CXO of KPCA Global, a management consultancy firm focused on sales process and big data initiatives, where he co-developed the Intuitive to Intentional™ sales process that is now deployed in sales organizations across the globe. In addition to managing sales, George will be responsible for building relationships with new partners and opening up new business opportunities.
In the role of Vice President, Carrier and Network Operations, Grant Hartline will ensure performance, availability and reliability of the networks that carry the Macheen services. With over 20 years of experience in the technology industry across a variety of industries and companies including TrustWave, Cisco Sytems, Dell, Mirage Networks and NEC America, Grant will significantly contribute to the success of Macheen.
