The National Council for Hypnotherapy Responds to new Research into the Relationship Between Weight Loss and Eating Habits
(PRWEB UK) 5 July 2013 -- According to new research eating two meals a day is better for weight loss than eating the same amount of calories in six smaller more regular meals. Research carried out by the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine found that when people with type 2 diabetes ate two large meals a day they lost more than when they ate six meals a day with the same amount of calories.
The news is of interest to The National Council for Hypnotherapy whose hypnotherapists help with weight loss and control by using hypnotic techniques. Whilst most understand that calorie intake influences weight, it is also possible to influence it by using complementary therapy which addresses the psychological issues connected with food and eating habits.
“We can help clients manage their weight by targeting the way they feel towards food and the amount they eat. This maybe to reduce portion size or to make the client feel satisfied without eating large amounts of unhealthy food. The techniques can be employed at any time the client may lose determination to lose weight or feels tempted to eat something bad for them. It can also be used alongside any diet such as the one the research focused on and helps add extra desire to lose weight.”
The National Council for Hypnotherapy continues to follow weight loss research and highlight the possibility of using hypnotherapy to help lose weight.
