Next Gen Dine has Integrated with VMware on the Lenovo and HP Proliant Servers
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) July 08, 2013 -- Next Gen Dine by Prelag Partners LLC has purchased VMware to supply virtualization for Next Gen Dine mobile restaurant point of sale system. Next Gen Dine will benefit from virtualization on the Lenovo and HP Proliant servers provided by VMware.
Virtualization is better for many reasons. Next Gen Dine can run various servers on one actual virtual machine. If one server gets infected, the rest of the servers continue running on the same virtual machine without being affected. The virus will not spread to the other servers. The compartmentalization of the assets will keep everything secure and will not be compromised in case of infection.
The virtual machine has the ability to detect software crashes. If ever a virtual machine undergoes a crash, it will endure auto recovery mode to fix itself. A snapshot of the entire Next Gen Dine system is taken for back-up. These snapshots will back up the entire configuration and installation instead of having individual back-up files. If one machine ever entirely crashes, a mirror image of that machine will take over and no data will be lost or compromised
VMware will enhance the Next Gen Dine experience, by providing a more secure virtualized server.
Next Gen Dine software is the first of its kind in the tablet restaurant point of sale market and the future of restaurant dining. For more information or business inquiries, please contact Paul Roberts by phone at 1-877-342-2218 or email at paul(at)nextgendine(dot)com.
About Next Gen Dine
Next Gen Dine is a cloud restaurant point of sale software designed for the iPad. Restaurant owners can now capitalize on the benefits of a full-featured POS system for a fraction of the cost of a traditional POS. Due to the mobility offered by the software, employees can take orders directly at the table, take credit card payments at the customer’s side, and drastically improve restaurant operating efficiency. Orders placed are sent directly to the appropriate prep station, therefore decreasing order turnaround time. Next Gen Dine also offers restaurant owners customer loyalty, gift card, social media, and fine-grained marketing tools.
