Washington, DC (PRWEB) July 05, 2013
Capital Auto Auctions, the leading source for quality used cars at remarkably low, competitive prices, is now holding weekly online auto auctions that include hundreds of automobiles that sell for less than $1,000. Live and online used car auctions are held weekly in the Washington D.C./Metro, Boston/New England, Philadelphia/Tri States, and Temple Hills, Maryland regions as well as on line at capitalautoauction.com.
Capital Auto Auctions is also the public auto auction to sell a used car on consignment with the assistance of its experienced team of professionals who handle all details of advertising and negotiating the sale of used vehicles.
Independent, professional auctioneers who lead the bidding conduct used vehicle auctions. Buying a car is simple and basic: vehicles are sold to the highest bidder and there is no unpleasant haggling over prices as one might expect to encounter when negotiating with used car lot dealers or private parties.
Capital Auto Auctions’ weekly sales always offer a wide variety of hundreds of automobiles that have been donated to major charities, as well as former FBI fleet cars, dealer trade ins, and bank repossessions, plus cars being sold on consignment by private parties. The auction inventory is ever changing from week to week, with a wide selection of family cars, mini vans, SUVs, trucks, and sports cars. The sales list also includes boats and motorcycles on occasion. All vehicles being sold are listed on the auctioneer’s website, capitalautoauction.com, along with details of the vehicles and photographs of cars that are being sold in each week’s real-time Internet auctions. There are no admission prices to attend or participate in Capital Auto Auction live/drive auction events. Shoppers can review all vehicles to be sold at the individual venues by going to their respective websites, listed below with addresses and contact information.

Cars can be paid for with cash, certified bank checks, Visa or Master Charge. A minimum deposit of $200 to $500 (depending upon the purchase price) is required for cars not paid for in full at the auction, with the balance due when the car is picked up within one business day. Anyone purchasing a car at the live/drive auctions must present a valid U.S. issued drivers license and be 18 or older. Bidders at the live/drive auctions can pre-register in advance either in person or on line, to complete paperwork that will be required when a purchase is made.
Many of the cars auctioned have been donated to a number of charities. Capital Auto Auction handles the sales of these vehicles with sizeable proceeds collected for organizations such as Goodwill, Cars for Breast Cancer, Volunteers of America, the Salvation Army, Charitable Auto Resources, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Cars for Causes, Cars Helping Veterans, the National Kidney Association, Homestretch, Cars Helping Pets, Purple Heart Car Donation Program, Kars 4 Kids, Cars to Help Kids, and Melwood Growing Together.
Capital Auto Auction is a reliable option for anyone wishing to sell a vehicle on consignment. Capital’s staff of experienced sales pros takes all of the phone calls, makes arrangements for sales, and even handles any problems or disputes that may arise with a sale. Selling through Capital Auto Auction helps sellers avoid losing money on under valued trade-ins and enables them to receive full value for their vehicles. Potential buyers safely review sellers’ vehicles, and no strangers come to their homes or call. Autos sold on consignment must be free of any liens and registered in the name of the sellers. Consignments are accepted on a first come, first served basis, with a limited number of consignment slots available each week, so sellers should contact the auction site in their area.
