Air Trampoline Sports has announced their midsummer opening at 1850 Lakeland Avenue in Ronkonkoma. The 26,000 square foot indoor facility features 16,000 square foot of trampolines including courts for freestyle, dodgeball, foam pit, basketball slam dunk and a children’s area.

"We're committed to opening the safest, cleanest and most fun indoor trampoline park for sports, fitness and birthday parties," said owner Ken Stone.

Air will have three specially designed dodgeball courts for pick-up and tournament play. Jumpers can jump into a pit filled with foam cubes or go big on two slam dunk goals. Aerobics classes will provide fun high energy workouts for all ages and fitness levels.

Ken Stone is a lifelong resident of Long Island‎ and has four sons.  "We're excited to be Long Island's first trampoline park and look forward to opening a park that will be the destination for birthday parties and fitness," said Stone. This modern facility has ample parking and will be the hot spot for events and fun.  Event planners have options such as private courts and meeting rooms.

There are over 150 indoor trampoline parks in America. Having started around 2008 in the western US, more parks are now opening in Eastern states.

Air's grand opening will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, as a portion of the proceeds from this night will be donated to them. "All are invited to come out for a day of sports fun supporting this great cause," said Stone. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island pairs at risk youth with volunteer mentors.  The benefit will not only raise money for the organization but will invite the Bigs & Littles in their program to come out and enjoy time in this exciting new facility.

Air is now welcoming birthday party reservations and job applications for qualified personnel at http://www.AirTrampolineSports.com.
