Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 08, 2013 -- RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc., a leading provider of traffic safety products and services, today announced the appointment of Michael Thompson to the new position of Product Sales Manager. Michael is responsible for all product sales and support efforts of the product sales team with the exception of the New England area, which will continue under the leadership of Tom Gallagher. Michael will work to establish new sales programs and pricing while working closely with key manufacturers.
Michael has more than 30 years of experience in the traffic safety industry. He began his career with a company in Madison, WI where he handled traffic control setup, design and long line pavement marking eventually becoming Branch Manager of their Milwaukee Division. He then started the company’s division in Las Vegas, NV, and was named Sales and Project Manager for Nevada, California and Arizona. Michael joined RoadSafe in 2012 as Branch Manager of Las Vegas operations. His expertise is in product management and development particularly with design and installation of crash attenuation and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) working closely with leading manufacturers in end user markets. Michael is Past President of the ATSSA Chapter in Nevada and currently serves as the traffic control member on ATSSA’s committee for their certified training courses.
