Katie’s Cards Announces That It Will Soon Be Launching Its Christmas Campaign

(PRWEB) July 09, 2013 -- Premium online ecard retailer, Katie’s Cards, has announced this week that it will soon be launching its Christmas campaign. The main aim of this campaign will be to promote the company’s B2B product – customizable and bespoke company ecards. Though it is still six months until Christmas, it is vital that the Katie’s Cards team uses the summer months to prepare for the Christmas rush, especially if the company wants to improve upon its record-breaking sales of 2012.

2012 was the most successful year ever for Katie's Cards company ecards. By creating new ecards, by improving our website and by starting our Christmas campaign early, we hope to build upon this success this year.

Last year, Katie’s Cards saw a 52% increase in the number of corporate clients who bought and sent company ecards. Katie’s Cards started producing company ecards in 2009, and 2012 was its most successful year to date. Though this growth is due, in part, to the fact that the company's customizable and bespoke ecards offer a fun, unique and effective way of sending company greetings, Katie’s Cards also puts a lot of effort into making the process as user-friendly as possible.

The company’s CEO, Katie Davies, is keen that this success is repeated this year. Davies explains:

“Last year was the most successful year yet for our company ecards and we saw over a 50% growth in the number of businesses who used our company ecard service. However, we must continue to work hard in order that this be repeated. Not only does this involve creating new and exciting ecards for our customers but it also involves making sure that any problems that occurred last year are ironed out. It is also necessary that we begin our campaign now in order to boost our company ecard keywords and to increase Katie’s Cards’ visibility on the internet.”

Davies also explained that whilst, for most people, the summer months consist of barbecues and soaking up the sun, the Katie’s Cards office is already filled with the sound of Christmas music as the company’s illustrators and animators have begun to create new Christmas ecards. Interestingly, Katie's Cards doesn't seem to be the only company thinking about Christmas during the summer months: in 2012, Katie’s Cards received its first request for a company ecard design in August. This demonstrates the importance of starting the Christmas campaign early. Indeed, one of the main selling points of the Katie’s Cards business ecards is that they can be designed early and scheduled to be sent at a date nearer to Christmas. This means that there is no concern over whether or not the ecard will be completed in time for the festive period. This relies, however, on Katie's Cards being prepared for an early seasonal surge.

Another of the most attractive elements of the ecards is the fact that they are eco-friendly. There is an increasing amount of pressure on companies to lower their carbon footprint and to demonstrate that they are taking measures which limit their negative impact on the environment. By sending company ecards, both big and small businesses can do just this because no resources are needed to make the ecards and they do not need to be sent by air, land or sea to reach their recipients.

Added to this is the fact that company ecards can act as an effective marketing tool and allow businesses to reach out to their clients in a unique, engaging and interactive way. At a time when people are constantly being bombarded with marketing emails and messages, it is important to find a way to stand out from the crowd and to entertain and engage your audience. Ecards hold the potential to do just this due to the ability to customize them to include animation, photographs and audio messages. What’s more, they can be customized to precisely represent a specific brand.

It is evident that the campaign executed by Katie’s Cards in the next few months will greatly affect their level of success over the busy Christmas period. By engaging with previous clients, by making sure that they add new designs to the website and by promoting the benefits of sending company ecards, the company should be confident that it can continue to build upon last year’s success.
