YapTap Introduces Advanced Leadership Communication Platform at NACBA 2013 Conference
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) July 09, 2013 -- YapTap announced today that it will be introducing its multi-channel communication platform to church leaders at the 57th Annual National Association of Church Business Administrators (NACBA) Conference July 11 to 15, 2013 in Charlotte NC.
To support the momentum created at the 2013 Southern Baptist Convention in Houston Texas, YapTap is also pleased to announce that Randy F. Thompson, former Executive Pastor for a mega church in Nashville (HopePark), has joined the YapTap team to help lead adoption in the faith-based vertical. “We are in a growth mode and have had a great deal of success selling to churches across the Southeast. It’s time to grow our sales force to accommodate the level of interest we’re generating, and the YapTap message is best delivered by someone who really understands the communication requirements of church environments,” commented YapTap CEO Shawn Glinter. “Every pastor we’ve spoken with reiterated that communication is a significant issue for them.”
As a tech-savvy Executive Pastor for more than 10 years, Thompson was SVP of Business Development for a regional engineering firm for 15 years prior to joining his church. “YapTap is a major leap forward from voice-only solutions, whether churches are communicating to a handful of congregants or thousands,” said Thompson.
YapTap originated as an extension of Youth Assistant, a successful youth ministry software created by parent company MadGravity. Today, YapTap has expanded both features and functionality to support the entire church organization. “Non-Profits work hard to create great content, and YapTap supports getting that content in front of the right audience,” commented Glinter.
“Proverbs 29:18 gives us guidance on the need for clear communication of that church vision. I believe YapTap is the tool for supporting pastors in communicating and reinforcing the vision for their church. I look forward to introducing this valuable tool to my peers in the ministry and helping them to address the struggles that all faith-based organizations have with communication,” said Thompson.
Thompson will be on-site at Booth #931 during the NACBA Conference, along with the rest of the YapTap Team, to educate and demonstrate the software and help pastors explore the possibilities for seamless communication with those they lead.
